Just-in-Time
Support When and Where You Need It
The mission
of the Department of Online Learning is to provide quality support
to faculty and students engaged in the teaching and learning of
fully online, blended, and web enhanced courses and to promote academic
excellence in the courses that are offered. Services provided include:
Student
Support:
- Pre-and
post-semester communication with online learners to provide access
to resources and information regarding support as well as to evaluate
their online learning experience
- In-person,
telephone, and 24/7 e-mail support in accessing and using the
Blackboard Learn 9.1 learning management system and troubleshooting problems
- Student tutorials
and resource materials

Support
- Individual
and group training in online course development and pedagogy and
use of Blackboard Learn and related e-learning applications
- On-going
support through individual assignment to an educational technologist
- Scheduling
and coordination of regular Blackboard Learn designer group meetings
