Assessing
Student Learning Through the WebCT Quiz, Survey & Gradebook
Tools
The
Office of Online Learning held their final WebCTea for the Spring
2005 semester. The Tea featured hands-on training for the Quiz and
Survey & Gradebook tools in WebCT. Professors in attendance
learned how to create multiple choice, matching, true/false, short
answer and essay questions in the WebCT question database. They
also learned to create quizzes, edit quiz settings and release them
to students. In the second portion of the Tea, professors learned
how to view student grades in the Gradebook area. They practiced
adding new assignments and grades to the Gradebook. Finally, they
learned how to archive the Gradebook for safe-keeping.
